A Call to Action (CTA) block should be used when you are wanting to persuade site visitors to perform a desired action on your site. You might want to use a CTA block to invite site visitors to fill out a contact form, to move them to another piece of content or to convince them to explore your site further. With the CTA block, you can use any combination of a title, summary and text.

Heading

You have the ability to select the heading level of the CTA title. Heading 2 is set by default, but may need to be adjusted depending on where you nest the CTA block within the page.

NOTE: This is not a required field

Summary

The summary of a CTA block should be concise, effective and to the point. Make sure to not lose focus of your actionable goal and to use strong verbs.

Instead of a "Click Here" CTA use something more personal like "Discover your best life."

Link

Additionally, you can wrap the CTA in an accessible, clickable link. The ‘Link text’ will appear as a button below the CTA summary text. The ‘Link text’ is recommended to clarify where users will be directed if they click on the selected CTA block.

Display Options

If checked, you can apply the following styles to your CTA block:

  • Background: Black, Gold, Brain pattern black, gray
  • Alignment: Left or Flex row center (will center the entire block and fields)

Block Restrictions

The CTA block is available in the following section layouts:

  • One column
  • Two column
  • Three column
  • Four column
  • Page w/ left sidebar
