Collection can be used to create a grouping of title/content or key/value information such as a definition list or an accordion. You can create multiple collection items and they will display based on the settings below.

Headline

The headline should describe what the Collection block will entail. Think of it as a ‘title’.  This is not a required field.

NOTE: You have the ability to hide the headline field if you still wish to add a descriptive title yet not have it display on the page. Think of it more as an ‘Administrative Label’ if you wish to implement it this way.

Headline Size

You have the ability to select the font size of the Collection block headline. Heading 2 is set by default, but may need to be adjusted depending on where you nest the Collection block within the page. 

Headline Style

Default, bold serif, Bold serif, highlighted (which will add an underline to the headline).

Collection Body

The collection body should contain descriptive text that directly correlates to the 'Headline'. 

Automatically open

If the accordion view mode is selected, this collection item will load open by default.

View Mode

There are two different ways to view the items in your collection block. 

Descriptive List

The 'Headline' and 'Collection Body' will display as an indented list where both fields are visible at all times. Common uses for this element are to implement a glossary or to display metadata (a list of key-value pairs).

Accordion

The 'Headline' will appear with a dropdown arrow. When selected, the 'Collection Body' will be visible. With the Accordion View Mode, you can create collapsible 'Headline'/content pairs. These can be expanded or collapsed by clicking the individual headlines. These are often used to shorten the initial length of a page while providing a lot of detail.

Accordion Type

Choose between single select and multi select. Multi select accordions may have many accordion items open. Single select accordions will only have one accordion item open at a time. For Single select to function as expected, ensure that only one collection item has the Automatically open option checked.

Block Restrictions

The collection block is available in the following section layouts:

  • One column
  • Two column
  • Three column
  • Four column

  • Page w/ left sidebar
