Notable Changes
- There are fewer chances of producing faulty or corrupted HTML.
- The "Paragraph Format" dropdown now consists only of headings, and the preformatted paragraph style has moved to the Code block button as Plain text.
- After the update, previously existing horizontal rules `<hr>` with a class attribute will be converted to a `<div>` element to maintain support for class values. Bare horizontal rules are still supported.
- After the update, two or more previously unordered or ordered lists right after each other might get merged together if there is not proper separation between them. If the lists have different settings, only the first list's settings will be retained.
- The table wizard has been improved for better column/row/heading/caption management.
- To continue providing media references within the link tool, we are relying on a patch developed by our team, currently undergoing community testing.
- The maximize editor window feature is no longer included, but we are looking for opportunities to add this back in. In the meantime, you can widen the layout builder settings tray to increase the editor window size.
- Please be aware that there might be some styling regressions in the editor, providing a less accurate preview of the final result.
- Inline elements may still not display correctly within the WYSIWYG text editor.
- Links set in the Global Caption field while uploading an image for a block will still not be saved.
- Link popups within nested modals cannot be dismissed.
- Quickly toggling out of source view and saving content may result in changes not being saved.
- The styles dropdown while in layout builder is in a fixed position and does not scroll with the browser window.
