The web team has been focusing on custom development related to the ITS and Facilities websites. We are working on moving them off of SiteNow v1 in favor of SiteNow v3.
Speaking of SiteNow v1, for the SiteNow v1 Standard Service, February 14th was the last day to request a replacement SiteNow v3 website. There is now ongoing work to make sure we can remove the websites that don't plan to move. If you haven't already heard, we are working to shut down the v1 Standard Service by August 1st, 2024.
We have heard from several SiteNow users that there has been an uptick in spam across SiteNow websites. Though we have some existing preventative tools in place, spambots and the like are able to get around these challenges. We are evaluating potential solutions to layer on top to provide additional protection.
New features and improvements:
- New safeguard to prevent media deletion where there is still usage.
- CCOM websites on SiteNow can now opt-out of the campus-wide Google Tag Manager implementation.
Fixes:
- We are evaluating process memory limit increases across the platform.
- Increased color-contrast for accessibility related to webform help icons.
- Fixed an overflow issue for media items within collections.
